Company President Mike Rupers founded Direct Express and still owns the company. Asked about the secrets to the company's extraordinary success, Mr. Rupers responded this way: "I intentionally removed caller id from our phone system. Our staff doesn't know whether the caller wants to get a quote, place an order or has some other issue? That's very different from our major competitors who often steer callers into voice mail oblivion. We deal with everything head on as it happens. We take care of little issues before they can become big ones. My dad taught me to do that. And I figured out on my own to let my employees' natural personalities shine through. We have no script to read to the customer. I can tell when somebody's reading, can't you? Who likes that? So we just have a nice chat and answer our customer's questions. Open Transport - Door to Door
Your vehicle is transported on an open car carrier much like the ones used to deliver new cars from the manufacturer to the dealers. Your vehicle will be picked up at your door (or as close as possible) and will be delivered to the door (or as close as possible) at your specified destination.
Open Transport usually costs less than Enclosed Transport.
Enclosed Transport - Door to Door
Your vehicle will be transported on a completely enclosed trailer designed to transport classic automobiles, prototypes or vehicles that cannot be exposed to inclement weather. Your vehicle will be picked up at your door (or as close as possible) and will be delivered to the door (or as close as possible) at your specified destination.

All of our assigned carriers are fully insured with a minimum of three quarters of a million dollars of liability insurance.
