Chamber Annual Banquet
The Chamber of Commerce will be holding its 37th Annual Banquet and Meeting on March 20, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. in the First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall, along with the United Fund of New Boston. The spotlight of the evening will be the presentation of the Loyd Wilson Award for Outstanding Citizen of the year and the Doyle Corley Humanitarian Award.
The theme this year is "Red Carpet Affair!" and our entertainment for the evening will be Gage Baird. The business displays will open at 5:30 p.m. and will have promotional items available.
Banquet tickets are $12.50 per person and are available from any board of director and also, the chamber office located at 100 North Center, New Boston.
 
Miss New Boston Pageant:
"Hollywood" will be the theme for this year's 34th Miss New Boston Pageant. The pageant is scheduled for April 5, 2008. There are 35 contestants in the different age categories and the Miss Scholarship is $1000.
The morning pageant will begin at 10:00 am with Baby, Tiny & Petite contestants and also the Talent competition. The evening pageant will begin at 6:00 pm! Tickets are on sale for $5.00 and one ticket will get you in both pageants. Tickets are available from any contestant and also at the chamber office! Program books will be available at the pageant for $1.00.
This is sure to be an exciting pageant, so come on out and support our girls.
 

 
Annual Banquet:
The Chamber banquet is set for April 26, 2007 at the First Baptist Church beginning at 5:30 with the Business Display's and ending with the meal at 7:00 p.m. This will be the 35th year and our theme for the evening is "A Night in the Spotlight!" The "spotlight" of the evening will be the presentation of the Loyd Wilson Award for Outstanding Citizen of the Year and the Doyle Corley Humanitarian Award.
 Banquet tickets are $12.50 per person and are available at the chamber office and from any board of director beginning March 1st. Our special entertainment will be Gage Baird.
Promotional items will be available form the Business Displays. We appreciate all the businesses that participate in our table displays and for their continued support!
