Wagon Tour of Old Nauvoo

See the historic sites and homes of Old Nauvoo on a horse-drawn wagon. You can board the wagon at the Historic Nauvoo Visitors Center, on the corner of Partridge and Hubbard Streets. This free tour is approximately one hour and is narrated by a missionary tour guide. The scenic route takes you past historic sites of both The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the Community of Christ. Oxen and Wagon Ride
The Oxen and Wagon Ride will allow you to travel the Mormon Trail and make a quick trip to the Salt Lake Valley, yet never leave Historic Nauvoo. Feel like a pioneer as a yoke of oxen pull you in a covered wagon. You can board this wonderful photo opportunity at the Main Street Historic complex, north of Pioneer Pastimes. Carriage Ride to Inspiration Point
Catch the pioneer spirit in a horse-drawn carriage ride to Inspiration Point, north of the Historic Nauvoo Visitors Center and hear stories of Old Nauvoo. This 35-minute scenic tour takes you through Inspiration Point, where you can overlook the Mississippi River at its widest point. This family friendly, free ride has long been a standard in Nauvoo, so don't miss it on your visit to Beautiful Nauvoo. Sunset by the Mississippi
Sunset by the Mississippi is a variety show featuring senior missionaries and young performing missionaries. Bring the whole family down to the river's edge and listen to music and stories of past eras. Let the little kids join the parade and the bigger ones compete in a "stick pull." The show in historic Nauvoo runs through Labor Day weekend. The pre-show begins at 8:00 p.m. Tickets are not required for this event. During the Pageant - Monday 8:00 p.m. at west end of Parley Street. Tuesday through Saturday 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Joseph Smith Auditorium.
 
Just Plain Anna Amanda
Monday - Saturday, 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. at the Cultural Hall
This delightful 30-minute, musical production is a humorous view of Nauvoo as seen through the eyes of a child, and helps young and old learn that the way to be happy with yourself and get everything to fit just right comes from finding out who you really are.
