The City of Morrison consists of 4,447 residents and is located approximately 45 miles northeast of the Quad Cities metropolitan area at the intersection of Illinois Route 78 and U.S. Route 30. The area surrounding Morrison is agricultural and residential in nature. Morrison is well served by a school district that provides quality education to the youth of the community from K-12. Recreational opportunities include Rockwood State Park, ball diamonds, and several city parks, with a fifth park in the design phase. The City of Morrison is a full-service City that provides water, sewer and full-time police services to the community.
