Minonk's oldest park is the Westside Park located between Washington and Jefferson streets and West Fifth and West Sixth streets. The park was created in the 1880's and was originally nothing more than a pasture. Today the park provides recreational and social facilities for Minonk residents. For the children there is playground equipment, for the teenagers there is a basketball court, and for everyone to enjoy is a new pavilion built with donated labor and funded in part by private donations
Minonk's newest park is the New Millennia Park located at the north edge of Minonk on the curve. The park contains a shelter and numerous recreation facilities. Some of the unique features are a skateboard park and an inline hockey rink. In addition, there is a soccer field, walking and jogging paths, playground equipment, and excercise stations. Minonk's Veterans Park is located at the northwest edge of the city at the end of Maple Avenue. The park contains a football and track field and two baseball diamonds for the Fieldcrest Knights. The baseball diamonds are also used by summer league teams. In addition, there are tennis courts, a volleyball court, playground equipment, restroom facilities and a shelter for picnics and get togethers.
