We provide quality custom injection molded Thermoset Plastics and Engineered Thermoplastic products. We are specializing in Thermoset - Injection, Injection/Compression, and Thermoplastics - Injection. With Thermoset and Thermoplastic Injection molding presses operating from 80 to 500 tons, we offer sufficient capacity to handle small 5,000 piece production runs to the large 20 million piece run. In addition, Woodland Plastics Corporation has multiple deflashing machines, ovens and auxiliary equipment to provide full-service capabilities.

In 1997, Lee Sinderson, with son Steve, founded Woodland Plastics Corporation, a custom injection molder of Thermoset and Engineering Thermoplastic materials to serve the transportation, electrical and appliance industries.
Prior to starting Woodland Plastics Corp., Lee Sinderson was an owner and President of Woodland Molded Plastics Corp., in Broadview, IL. In 1991, Woodland Molded Plastics Corp. was sold to Freudenber-NOK and Lee Sinderson remained as general manager until it was sold and relocated in 1997.
We are an experienced firm that has moved to improved facilities and acquired modern equipment. Most of the management team has worked together for many years along with many of the shop floor personnel. We continue our good relationship with all our material suppliers, tool houses, machinery builders and other suppliers. We intend to be recognized as "the" source of engineered thermoplastic and thermoset components and assemblies for industry. We will offer the highest customer value, service, and product quality available.

Manufacturing
Woodland occupies a modern 20,000 square foot manufacturing facility. It is divided into two large bays. The two bays offer the advantage of separating Engineered Thermoplastic molding from Thermoset molding.
Equipment List consists of 11 presses and ancillary equipment as well as material and equipment for secondary operations such as deflashing, post-cure ovens, machining, and assembly. The first bay is equipped with 1200 Amps of power, a process water system and cooling tower, compressed air, and a bridge crane that runs from end to end allowing easy mold changeover, material movement and the like. Eleven presses, three deflashing machines, two ovens and auxiliary equipment are installed and running.
