Usually it's the paparazzi flocking to people, not the other way around. Of course, this Papa Razzi can't run very fast, let alone wield a camera. What it can do, though, is serve popular Italian fare that is adapted from the recipes of the owner's mother. The house specialty is the chicken in parchment: a marinated breast baked with Italian sausage and spinach in a white-wine sauce. One reviewer raves: "Baking in parchment affords the opportunity for an amalgam of flavors ... but the ingredients still remain distinct." Warm garlic bread and cold antipasto are winning starters, and the wine list is impressive. Better make reservations, though, because snaring a table (the place fills up quickly and is closed Sundays and Mondays) can be as elusive as photographing Madonna with her husband du jour Italy has changed and so has authentic Italian food. It's lighter, fresher, more exciting Italian, and it's just what you'll find amid the elegant yet comfortable atmosphere that is Papa Razzi. Guests are first greeted with ever-popular freshly-baked focaccia and grissini, then offered items ranging from the lighter Cavatappi Affumicati to the more substantial Filetto Balsamico. An always-intriguing list of nightly specials typically complicates one's choice even further, while creating new options for the hosts of regulars who frequent these local favorites.
