G & S Foundry & Manufacturing Company PDF Print E-mail

Features: Casting, Services, Quality, Contacts, Information, Location, E-Mail. Located in Red Bud, IL.

G& S Foundry has been producing quality sand castings since 1951. Primarily a foundry, the Red Bud, IL facility also houses Tri-Met Industries, our CNC Machining Company.  We specialize in providing cast and machined parts that range from prototype (1-5 units) to production (15,000+) quantities for customers in a variety of industries including transportation, agriculture, manufacturing, & military aircraft.
In house capability starts with 3D CAD model generation (including reverse engineering services), which can be prototyped using our 2500+ Selective Laser Sintering Rapid Prototype machine.  Tool design and fabrication can be accommodated with our Foundry Engineering Group.  A variety of casting finish requirements such as abrasive finished, heat-treated, painted, and/or a variety of CNC machining operations are available to our customers.

In the fall of 2000, we completed a foundry modernization effort that included the installation of three new Roberts Sinto automated molding machines and mold handling systems.  This equipment offers the benefits of high production work centers to low volume castings that would typically not have this option..  Parts ranging from 1 ounce to 2000 pounds are currently produced in our facility.
