Ag in the Classroom (AITC) is a program that has been developed to help students acquire adequate knowledge to function effectively as agriculturally literate citizens supportive of wise agricultural policies and programs. Its purpose is to encourage educators to incorporate more information about the food and fiber system into daily lessons and to help students understand the role of agriculture in the total economy.
