TOMKAT Roofing, Inc. - located outside of Streator, Illinois - was founded by Larry and Kathy Tombaugh in 1985. Started as a small, family business, TOMKAT has now grown to 22 employees and serves customers throughout the Midwest. The business is run on the Tombaugh farm in a 10,000 square foot American Steel building built in 2000 and a 7,500 square foot storage warehouse. Although the business has expanded over the past 20 years, TOMKAT still operates on strong family values and work ethics.

Originally, TOMKAT specialized in installing foam roofs, Conklin coatings, and shingles. In 1990, Larry was introduced to the Duro-Last product, and it is now the number one product installed by the company. TOMKAT stands behind the Duro-Last product, and Larry was even elected to the Duro-Last Advisory Board in 1993 and served as Chairman in 1995.
Well-known for their professionalism as well as their high-quality work, TOMKAT has been recognized as an expert roofing company. TOMKAT's distinctions include a Century Club Award at Point Clear, AL, the Presidents Club Award, Admirals Club Award, Generals Club Award, and the 2004 ABC Excellence in Construction Award for a project completed at the Alamo II in Normal, IL.
TOMKAT installs approximately 100 roofs each year on both commercial and residential buildings, only slowing down during the very coldest months of the year. With over 20 years of experience in the roofing industry, TOMKAT is a name you can trust.
